Hi all!
I was sorting pennies and came across this super shiny and more red/copper looking penny-darker in copper tone than a 2017 shield. Very shiny, glassy-like. I am wondering if it is a Philadelphia mint coin.

I am also curious if it is a circulated proof coin? Am I saying that correctly? lol

I took pictures of it by itself and then in comparison to 2 around the same year but typical brown condition/coloring/wear.

I appreciate any and all feedback! Really excited regardless that it's old and in such pretty shape!

Nice find. Circulated proofs are usually called impaired proofs, but "circulated" expresses it well too.

This looks like a regular business strike coin from Philly, albeit one that has done little circulation, and equally little tarnishing. It'd be welcome in most LMC albums. MS-63

Agree 100% with nick!

Full red 1964, nice find. Appears to be average mint state or slightly below for the issue. I'd keep it.

AU to 61/62 (tiny pics)

You don't need a microscope. Many people use cellphones with good success. I use an old Canon SD700IS 6MP. It's all about your lighting and macro setting....example:

EDIT - Also notice how my picture is cropped. GOOD LUCK
