atticguy Pillar of the Community United States 1373 Posts	Posted 03/08/2019 10:13 pm If you are collecting loons and quarters (like me), I'd say hold on to them; at least until you might pick up some higher graded copies. I bought three shiny loonies this morning at the local coin show and swapped them for the three dull ones I had found in change years ago. The 3 'BU' dollars cost me $11, but now my set looks much better. Also, the 1973 quarter is pretty common (unless of course it's the large bust variety), but the others truly are hard to find in circulation. Report this Post to the Staff
