I stole this pic from another thread, and was wondering if its actually worth keeping similar coins or not.
I have a bunch similar and was considering just spending them.

I don't see anything there worth more than face value.
They are all just business strikes that have been circulated.

The 1973 25 cent is worth a look for large bust obverse

Not trying to derail this thread, but are those coins actually worth keeping ?
I have some similar and was just debating on whether to spend or keep.
Thanks

If necessary ... spend them

Its not necessary, but whats the point of keeping coins that I already have and are really not worth keeping.
Thanks.

Twenty year ago I had a 5-gallon plastic water bottle (empty every change I received ended up in the bottle.
20 years after I'am still doing the same with the toonies/loonies....

If you are collecting loons and quarters (like me), I'd say hold on to them; at least until you might pick up some higher graded copies.

I bought three shiny loonies this morning at the local coin show and swapped them for the three dull ones I had found in change years ago. The 3 'BU' dollars cost me $11, but now my set looks much better.

Also, the 1973 quarter is pretty common (unless of course it's the large bust variety), but the others truly are hard to find in circulation.
