I have just recently started the process of going through BOXES of my father's coins, I have come across a couple of these and a 1992 Saskatchewan quarter. Any idea what they are each worth?

Have a look at the price guide here:

Or look for similar sales/coins on ebay.

1st question. Are they slabbed?

The NB has 2 rotated errors. 1 is 180 degrees, the other is 90. The 90 degree seems to be worth twice as much as the 180 in the 70th Ed. Charlton.

It would be cool if you have one of each, and because of your next statement, I'll bet you do.

You did not actually say your Sask. quarter has a rotation error. Please confirm.

Because you brought it up in this thread, I'm going to assume it is.

Well, your father must have been a serious collector. If your Sask. quarter is a 180 degree rotated die error, the above book lists....Only 3 Certified!!!.....WOW!!!

So....you just may have the 4th. (Or 1 of the 3). Wouldn't that be great. . Value...?..... This forum would love it if you found one.

If your father had the Sask. error, seems right he had both NB.

Please keep us posted. This would be one heck of a 1st post if your coins pan out. Good luck.

I think that the OP should pick up a copy of the latest Charlton guide, so he can get a general idea of the "value" of the items. I use the term "value" lightly because the Charlton prices are full retail that a newbie collector would get from a max-invoice seller. A Charlton would also inform him of what the CORRECT orientation is for all his Canadian coins, whether medal or coinage, to determine any rotation.
