Hi Everyone,
I'm new on this forum so hello from Toronto. I found a coin/token on my way to work this morning. I have attached the image to the post. It appear to be in french and commemorates the silver jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. I have search google to see if I could find anything similar but can't. Would anyone on here be able to help with my search for exactly what it is.
Thanks

Hello Gary and !

This looks like a private medallion struck to commemorate Queen Elizabeth II's Silver Jubilee in 1977. Several companies struck these in the UK and across the Commonwealth. I remember one with a similar design being given away with cans of motor oil by a UK distributor! As the legend is in French I imagine this one was distributed in Canada.

What's on the other side? Also, try to post large cropped photos with the token right side up.
