Looks like a spooned coin or maybe a Dryer Coin.

Thanks for feedback. That link shows many coins with similar marking. there all US coin so maybe AU possibly rarer

Not more rare. If it is a spooned coin or a Dryer Coin it does not matter if it is a U.S. coin or not. Anyone anywhere can spoon a coin and commercial clothes dryers are world wide as well.

Dryer would be my opinion. The edges are too uniform & smooth to

have been tapped on.
