Hi,

This is my first post so: Hajimemashi te. Watashi wa Joe desu. yoroshiku onegai shimasu.

Oh! I forgot to mention on my bio. I'm studying Japanese. For those of you not studying Japanese: How do you do, nice to meet you. My name is Joe. I would like us to get along.

I would also like some help with a 1943 Argentina 5 centavos coin. I think its KM# is KM# 40 5 CENTAVOS. The World Coin book says that the 3 on this coin should have a rounded top but my coin has a flat top on the 3.

I want to be correct in my identification of this coin. Can anyone explain the discrepancy?

Thanks for you help.

Hello and welcome to the forum.

I'm not sure why Krause has that there. I'd assume it's an error in the catalogue, but without seeing a whole bunch of 1943 5 centavos to compare it with, I couldn't be certain.

I thought it might be something like that. I have an e-mail address for someone at krause but I don't want to wear out my welcome or I'd ask him.

This is my first coin of this year and type so I have nothing to compare with.

Thanks for the welcome!
