Just found this dime in my change, trying to figure out if this was caused by a die error or intentional damage. I'm guessing it's the later, but wanted others opinions. Thanks
PMD. Someone hit it with a lawnmower, was then dug up by a metal detecorist bent, then hammered flat, tumbled in a rock tumbler and then spent. It's a spender but coins like these are always the most fun to write stories of what that coin went through.
