Let's see some of those commemorative halves -- post some of those special pieces you cherish. I don't have many, actually only a few; but there are some of us who have some dandies. Let's see them. Take Care Ben

Quote: The 1991 Mt Rushmore Proof Commemorative set. Bonedigger....Just curious......did you get that AT Mt. Rushmore ? I noticed several kinds of coins for sale there, including State Quarter stuff, etc. etc. etc. when I was there last year.

No Sir Eagle, I picked them up at our bank (Black Hills Federal Credit Union) when they were released in 1991. A member could purchase one set for $10.00 (limit three) per customer. I ended up giving two away and this is the last one I have. My brother and a cousin have the others. Take Care Ben

Thanks for posting these pictures. These are some lovely coins.
Makes me a bit homesick for the USA and being able to go a coin shop.

Are you a mind reader, eaglefoot? Quote: My brother and a cousin have the others. Spoken as a true coin collector, Bonedigger.

Bull -- (His Nickname) my little bro., Norman who lives down in (Anderson, Tx) isn't as computer savvy as most here and on a couple of occasions I've tried to get him involved with the forum, but alas he hasn't signed up yet. He's got a pretty good collection of general coinage and has some really nice large cents.
Take Care Ben
