Hello. I'm new to the coin community and was wondering if someone could help me identify this coin if its a Close AM or not. Seems pretty close to me and wanted other opinions on it. I have 1 with Wide AM and one with Close AM with mint mark.

Way too blurry to tell. Please try getting clearer pictures and update.

To the CCF

Agree with the others.
When posting photos of coins, we need
to see clear, focused photos in order
to see all the detail, otherwise we would
be just guessing.

Thank you for having me. Is there anything like an app that can help me magnify the picture's detail? I used a magnified glass to get it this close. Kinda wish I kept my old microscope. Lol

to CCF. You can buy a clip on magnifier for not much on ebay that you attach to a smartphone.

I don't need additional photos to offer my opinion of this coin - it's a Wide AM ( WAM) as expected from the date/mm.

The key diagnostic still seems elusive to the CCF membership - so sharing again.

Focus on the 'A' in 'STATES' reverse legend - if it is centered between the two 'T' then this is indeed a WAM - if it is offset to the right hand 'T' than this is a CAM.

See for yourself where this one lies - WAM I say.
