Good evening, can anyone give me information as to this dot seen on the penny illustrated in pic ?
It looks similar to the dot on an old silver Canadian Quarter of value.

It is hard. Can it be still the Zinc rot bubble ?
Someone mention on another site "Plating Blister". Sounds more reasonable since the coin is in good condition.

It is a plating issue. If it is hard,it is plating debris. If you can press on it and it dents,it is trapped gas.
