Welcome to the forum.

This should be posted in US Classic Grading subforum. A mod will probably move it for you.

I don't know gold coins, but it looks to be at least AU to me. However, I would post the weight and diameter so others will be able to better assess your question about whether to slab. The weight should be 1.7g with a diameter of 12.7mm. If it were me, and the dimensions checked out, and it passed the sniff test from the experts here, I would definitely get it slabbed.
