1969 Washington Quarter Error Or My Mind Is Playing Tricks On Me

2Bits4HalfSense New Member United States 1 Posts	Posted 03/13/2019 10:22 pm Ok So I need some help in determining if my eyes are going bad or if I'm actually on to something. In the middle of the date, I see a faint outline of other numbers including a 6 between the 19 and the 69. Also my girlfriend says there are faint letters along the edge of the quarter as well. Pauldog Valued Member United States 325 Posts	Posted 03/14/2019 03:31 am Is the stuff between the 9 and the 6 raised or indented? I'm guessing it's just a bit of damage, and it's indented into the coin. When you have coins randomly bumping into each other over many years, you get all kinds of markings.
