I was going to bid on this coin, but it looks fake. Any help?

Definitely fake

1) The font is wrong
2) The portrait looks to be in low relief. These are in very high relief.
3) It's far too round
4) If you are offered a multi-thousand dollar coin from anyone other than a reputable dealer or extremely well known and established seller with a *rock solid* return policy, it's best to assume it's fake and take a pass. Your odds of throwing money in the garbage are much more than your odds of making a major score.

rondo...I'm no expert but you've posted a few gold coins lately that all seem to be fake...
Where are you acquiring the coins from?

An obvious fake (even for me). And some of you know, that I'm a novice when it comes to spotting fakes.
