I have looked all over for a coin/medal/token like this one but I can't find anything. What is this and how old is it?

It is from the Franklin Mint "Presidential Hall of Fame" set. My grandfather got this set back in the late 1960's and gave it to me shortly before he passed away. My version runs from Washington to Johnson, but if you search ebay you will find there is a set for sale that goes through Nixon. BTW, I feel that the set on ebay is way overpriced.

They used a 3/4 portrait style, just like the current dollar series. If the FDR coin is any indication, their work looks better. The Franklin Mint outdoes the US Mint--who would've thought?

Never thought of it that way! The US Mint copied the Franklin Mint!
