given the lack of hits in the areas with photo contrast, I'll guess that's true over the entire coin, so under those assumptions MS-63

Well... I tried more pictures, but still reveal the same dull appearance. I did not use my 30x eye loupe, nor have my micro set up for any other pictures. There is no luster present and I don't see that it was dipped, wiped or abrasives on the surfaces. Thank you very much for your input. A nice find either way in my coin roll.
