I got this crazy looking dime at the gas station a while back and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what kind of error this is. Any help would be so appreciated. Thank you!

It does look like a capped die and worth a premium. Only hold coins by the edge, fingerprints will damage a coin. I would dip it in 100% pure acetone and put it in an Air-Tite holder.

To CCF ! Please only hold the coin by the edge or wear gloves when handling. It looks like you have a Struck Through Late Stage Die Cap error. Nice find! http://www.error-ref.com/struck_thr...age_die_cap/

Looks to be struck through a late stage die cap. I would keep for sure. Happy hunting!

Thank you! And thank you for the advise. I've probably ruined plenty of coins just by touching them huh

Don't worry about it. Just wear gloves next time.
