1809 Half Cent Can I Get Some Opinions With Grading?

panzaldi Bedrock of the Community United States 18640 Posts	Posted 03/23/2019 10:17 am this is a more rare date with a mintage of just 222,867. grading this one is a little more challenging as the obverse and reverse are really far apart in the way of grade. I'm going with a softly struck obverse as you have some decent dentils, strong right stars but weak left stars. you have some hair detail in the cap of the head. you can see the difference in details from the right to left sides. the reverse shows nice dentils, good leaf separation and a strong ribbon. I think the coin grades VF details ED. all things considered it does have some value Report this Post to the Staff
