I believe it's the RRPM. The knowledge Veterans on here will steer you right on here about this. I have one. If you Google it, it will explain how it all came about....

I'm not seeing a RPM in these pics. There's only one listed for 1974-S and it doesn't match.

I think it's a damaged mintmark punch issue.
