PCGS grading calls it Full Band, NGC calls it Full Torch. Of the dimes I sent into PCGS, only two came back as Full Band. Where they got me is that the upper and lower bands need to wrap around the sides of the torch and touch the field. I have some dimes that are 90% of the way there but Nope, I didn't get the FB designation.
For anyone who has the same experience, does NGC differ on the bands? Do they count the vertical lines in the torch as more important and are OK if the bands are nearly field to field?
