New Forum Member From Cape Coral FL With Some Basic Knowledge

Hello all,
it's a pleasure as long-time guest reader to finally become a member.
I am collecting coins since I was a little kid growing up in Germany and Austria. I started collecting US coins a couple of years ago.
I mostly like Morgans, Walkers, Standing Liberty quarters and Wheat cents. But I'm interested in the US coin history and am fascinated about the details. I just found out I like varieties, so I'm kind of a hunting person to wait for a 1955 DD in my pocket change.

I got infected with the US coin virus by a collection I bought on a flea market over in Europe. I found out that the collection had one or two nice finds such as a 1914D and 1922noD Wheat cent, as well as a 1913S type2 buffalo. I was so excited about it that I always liked to do that again. No success until now but still hunting for some coins and especially getting knowledge about some nice varieties.
I looking forward to contributing e to the forum and also getting some ideas about questions that I might have.
