Curious if I can get a grade for this LWC. I had posted on the error forum because what looked to be a small scratch at first to me on reverse and turned out to be a slight lamination error. Your help is appreciated !
That was my first thought that it had to be cleaned. My son & I found in his change jug. I will get better pictures up. Does it hurt the value that someone cleaned? I have read several different opinions in the forums here.
It all depends on the severity of the cleaning and overall presentation, but by no means does a details grade automatically kill a coin. Details grade key date coins can still fetch a good fraction of their original price.
