Also I noticed the MM is really close to the date and may be touching.

The glare in these pics makes them of little use. Start with full pics of both sides, then sharp close-ups of your areas of concern. MM position is considered normal for an era when these were hand-punched into the die.

Probably not a doubled die coin. But sure could use better photos.
