Anyone care to take a stab at this ? ... photos are grainy and don't show the light luster.

I find Vicky quarters tough to grade, as is often the case it's a weak strike.

Looks uncirculated...

I think so too but I think there is very slight wear. Almost unnoticible. I guess that might render it AU55 to MS60, not sure. But I am wondering about it's history. It seems to lack luster so I'm wondering if it's been dipped in the past. Apparently PCGS doesn't recognize 'dipping' as 'cleaning'. Heard this just recently.

AU58 sounds about right GrapeCollects with the wear on the high points.

Can you get a closer up picture of the surface, on the Obverse I'm seeing lines that sweep in one direction not that it has been cleaned, but there are new laser etched dies that make counterfeits theyre very good but seem to have an artifact of the laser etched dies struck into the surface sometimes thank u

Thanks Coin-Flipper.

Alan - This coin dates back several years but I will try to get a money shot so-to-speak over the next few nice weather days. If not, I can pull out the ol`microscope.

I would like to send it to PCGS but I think you have to get an account or subscription first and then they charge per coin. I'm in Canada and usually go ICCS but I like the idea of a Hard Case for this one as well as the Rep of PCGS for both grading & resell value. Any advice if I would only want to try them with this one coin...?

You can speak to an authorized PCGS dealer and let them send it for you. Thats if you dont have an account.
