Curious as to what you think the grade of this is? When appraising through PCGS what category would this fall into?

That's a 2 1/2 Dollar Gold Liberty Head. Hard to see pics clearly, but looks high grade. Could be unc or high au, not sure if it was cleaned or not. Lucky you. Would it be possible to get a little better photo of the reverse? Looks like it might be the "old reverse" variety, and in that case, very lucky you.

Color looks more like a copper coin than gold. Lighting?

At second glance, the date looks like 1361, but probably the lighting.

Date is 1861. Probably lighting, but it's in the safe right now. Trying to dig it out shortly.

There are two varities of this date, one worth much more than the other in high grades. Not sure which this is.
