Hi! I'm Rob from Ohio, USA. I found this penny and have searched the web to see if there is any like it or similar for sale. No luck. There isn't a topic on peeled cladding either. I got a "one of a kind". Any idea on what may have caused the peeling would be appreciated. Any value?

a 1979 cent would not have cladding.
From your pictures, it would seem that a piece of tape was stuck to either side if the cent.

To CCF! Not an error coin, just damage. It's Post Strike Damage ( PSD), meaning that this happened after it left the U.S. Mint. As to value, no increase at all.
