Came across this unusual coin, my first impression was a barbarous issue, but now possibly medieval? Anyone have an idea? Looks like something from Game of Thrones

Apparently quite a rare coin you have there!

Using Google Translate:
Naples
Ferdinand I of Aragon, 1458-1494. Horse FERRANDVS REX Bust with crown radiata d. Rv. EQVITAS REGNI Horse in step towards d .; to the exergue, ° * S * °. Pannuti-Riccio 32. MEC 14, pag. 375. MIR -.
Extremely rare. Beautiful brown patina, good BB / q.Spl The S of this multiple should allow us to date the coin to the last year of office of Cola Spinelli master of mint (1475-1488). From this year the name of the sovereign changes from FERDINANDVS to FERRANDVS until the end of his reign.

Thanks LV that's where I'm from. Haven't been there in 15 years or so. This is great news - Thanks!

Among other things, I can't recall an earlier bronze issue from this era.
