Are the 2 lines on each side of this coin called die cracks? Haven't ever noticed these lines on a coin before so info would be appreciated.

With this coin having such large cracks on each side, does it make this coin have any extra value? Also is the die cracks always on each side of the coin?

Thanks. Also I just seen another one like mine on ebay and it also listed it as being DDR esp showing on the A in America. I had thought mine looked questionable as well but figured yall would have mentioned it. What do yall think?
