Yesterday marked 6 months of roll searching for me and I must say, I am amazed what I have found! First, 501 rolls of copper pennies. Also, 15 rolls of wheat pennies in addition to the copper rolls.I was building a cent collection as I went and, with the exception of 1960 p small date and 1970 s small date, I have a complete set of LMC cents in AU or better condition(my estimates, there may be a few EF's in there on closer inspection).I was also able to compile a collection of wheat cents that is complete from 1940 on with the exception of 40s,42s,43s,46s and 55s.Where I live I don't see many s cents so I felt that was pretty good. Also, I have 22 pre-1940 dates, the earliest being 1910. All this in 6 months from circulating coins. Amazing!

I keep considering roll searching more, but my neck gets so sore from looking at them and I don't look that close. :(

Fatcat, it's not my neck that hurts, it's my wrist! I think I'm developing early stages of carpal tunnel or something... wrist's been hurting me. No good.

When I sort large quantities of coins I have 'bit of a ritual' with magnifying light (on a stand), cotton gloves current collection (to update/upgrade) and my spare coins collection (which comprises of a multiple drawer system (labeled with year/mintmarks) and oh yea plenty of coffee. Works for me.
regards

My routine is very similar to Iconcoins except I replace the coffee with Coke Zero! Caffeine is caffeine!
