I have a ton of NB 1864s and have documented at least 7 or 8 interesting die varieties. Of those, the Tall 6 and the Short 6 E over F in FD are the most well known. There is also a repunched 6 and a repunched 8 in 1864 among others. The filled die phenomenom is common in the NB 1864s and therefore I don't believe it gives any premium. Furthermore, it is irresponsible for this TPG to claim this as a "NEW F/E Variety" - it's nothing of the sort. Report this Post to the Staff
Wade Pillar of the Community Canada 2781 Posts	Posted 05/25/2019 8:32 pm Hard to tell from the pictures if the made up TPG is accurate with their guesstimate on grade. If they are making up varieties then I really can't trust their grade. Looks really nice, but $200 seems like a lot unless MS63 or higher. Report this Post to the Staff
