There was a listing for 18 pliofilm sets from 1953 to the 1960s. My question is, did they release PL sets in pliofilm sets in the 1950s or are these homemade sets?

The coins look deliciously uncirculated. I had my bid set to $600 but for some reason it failed to submit. Did I miss out on a rare deal or am I lucky to have missed out?

Home made sets.
No pliofilm 'til '61.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

i was watching it as well. unfortunately there were no photos of the reverses of the earlier coins, They are definitely homemade sets, as DBM has noted. But still if they were removed from original cardboard holders, and put right into plastic, there may have been some gems in there.

It is unfortunate that none of the rare PL sets were pictured.

I wasn't able to pull the seller's profile. Member since 1994 but all zero's.

Looks fishy.
