Not junk but not rare either if it's a circulated cent. They made 673 million+. As far as I know Canada has not stopped copper in pennies completely. But after 1997 ( I think) they are only copper plated zinc and then copper plated steel. I could be wrong though so let's see what the experts say. malissa Report this Post to the Staff
