Hi
Can anyone advise whether it is normal that the eagle orientation on the reverse is upside down when compared to the obverse orientation?
Thx

All USA coins are like that. Everything is OK if you flip it over top to bottom.

Probably the Mint never noticed this yet.

Possibly because the British have their coins in medal orientation. We may have inverted our reverse just to be different from them. I have no proof of this but we had just recently finished a war withthem and anti-British sentiment was probably still pretty high. Doing something just to be different from them is not too far fetched.
