The second 2 is very hard to photograph. It also looks like the gap between the 2's is to wide.

It looks legitimate and like mine, it has the weak reverse rendering it not near as valuable as the strong reverse. Great find nonetheless!

Heritage and such auctions them with fraudulent looking 2 on the end quite a bit without an issue. I think it's just how they are. The numbers are spread out pretty good and the last two looks thinner/weaker/lighter than the 2 beside it.

I feel fairly certain it's genuine as far as the date is concerned.
Also I feel like this is Die pair #3 but hard to tell for sure with the amount of wear it's taken.

I think you could get a genuine slab but lose out with an environmental damage. It's been beaten up pretty good.

Whatever the date (and I have doubts about it being 1922), I don't think it would straight-grade.
