Can anyone help me identify this coin that was unearthed in Australia? It had the California seal on it with 31 stars, but I can't find any info in it or any that also have the indian head on the back like this one does. Can anyone help shed some light?

Nothing written on the sides, and no dates. Very odd that it was dug up in Australia.

It is a tourist trap souvenir, I have a number of them that are variations along that theme. Somebody likely was carrying it at a pocket piece/lucky charm when they lost it. Probably from the 1950's or newer.
