to community.

You have a very nice * STRUCK OFF CENTER **. It is a keeper , put it in a 2x2 holder.

How did you come across it?

I have seen the strike on the front be off, but never on the back at the same time. The back is Always centered

Concur with the expert views already stated above - this is indeed a legitimate error coin.

It's known by several names - I believe the most accurate is 'off-center strike'.

Keeper for sure ... well found during roll searching.

It's an off-center strike (or perhaps an uncentered broadstrike) in combination with a stiff collar error.

I wasn't gonna ask, but my fiance would like to know if it's worth more then 5 cents. I told her it was and she doesn't believe me. Can someone please tell me it is so I can show her? She doesn't understand my obsession with coins

Yes, it definitely worth more than 5 cents. You can probably get 15 to 20 dollars for this coin.
