Hi,

I have recently received an unknown coin in change and have been trying to identify it. I know it is from the Isle of Man and I assume it is a commemorative of some sort. If any experts or native Manx could help me identify it I'd be most grateful since I can't find it on any websites documenting Manx coins.

I happen to have the standard Manx coin as well so I know it isn't a normal circulation one. Perhaps it could be rare!

Apparently the Manx bank makes many different designs annually as a part of revenue for the island so it is one of many I'd guess.

Here are links to some full-size pictures:

It's in terrible condition, but I'm not worried about collecting valuable coins, just what I find interesting. Goes for everything I've got really.

EDIT: As a side note, I read SuperDave's thread on coin pics with a normal camera and these are the results!

Thanks for your help, I didn't understand how I could find it, but I've put that code in to Google and come up with the thing on (131231) Not Allowed - Auto-Removed - irritating as I actually searched that site before I posted.

Hopefully I'll find more Manx coins in the future.
