I think it may have an old light cleaning or maybe dip.

Looks cleaned and scratched up. I would stay away as I dont like the eye appeal. Grade wise maybe 53-55.

thanks all. It is for my 7070, and perhaps a hole filler. seems like a good deal for $250?
Rest in Peace

No. It is not a great deal.

AU, details, cleaned. Bright color on the reverse from insufficient rinse after dipping.

AU53 details. the reverse is a dead giveaway for a cleaning. in a lot of instances light cleaning on these sometimes passes with a straight grade but I don't think this is one of those

thanks everyone, it looked better in hand, so I did end up buying it, and will possibly post better pics.
I feel like I could immediately sell this for quite a bit more than I bought it for, so is a good deal for me!

I don't mind if it is cleaned, it is going into my 7070, not slabbed. My kids can decide what to do with it, if I give them my coins when I'm dead :)

I forgot to mention that the lady gave me a bonus 1836 capped bust dime, fine, of course with a small hole. still sweetened the deal. got them soaking in acetone.
