I think this date is the best of the Philadelphia Mint Buffalo nickels. Better than the 1921. Picked this up for $32. Thoughts on grade and problems? Thanks!

Wow, that's a nice coin too. Where are you getting these for so cheap! :)
This one doesn't seem to have much luster, maybe ms60? Maybe higher.
Rest in Peace

This is a nice coin with pleasing Luster but the coin has a weaker strike as the tail isn't split and the brown toning is a distraction I would grade MS 64
Rest in Peace

Toning does not impact numerical grade assignment, although it may affect eye appeal up or down.

MS-64. Eye Appeal 6/10. Strike a little soft.

I see slight wear on the reverse high points and an overall lack of luster. I'll say AU-58.

A little difficult to know if there is the tiniest amount of wear under the toning.

I will say there there isn't any, and thus agree with moxking with soft strike, therefore
MS64.

MS 62/63. My understanding (quite possibly incorrect) is that a 64 shows some of the tail split. In the example the tail ends are merged. The streaking is probably from an incompletely mixed planchet. Still a very nice example.

This came in. Has bright orange, blue and yellow toning which unfortunately I am unable to photograph. Thoughts?

Beauty of a coin...I do see some reverse slight wear on the Buff's hair...so AU58.

Very nice AU-58. The tail and high points show wear.
