Looking for a value on some tokens from Tasmania, Australia I recently purchased in a lot. I've received the following info about them from a collector friend in the UK with proper books:

R Josephs was transported to Tasmania in 1827, gaining his freedom in 1841 and, in 1852, a 3 year right to operate the New Town toll gate. Halfpenny is Gray152/ Renniks310. The Launceston check pieces are not specifically listed (only a general type listing in Gray) but closely resemble those struck for Hosie's 'original scotch pie shop' (who also issued penny tokens) by Stokes mint, both in Melbourne, and may date to 1870-1900 (Gray p.215). Are they 24mm? The Hosie pieces are catalogued as R7-8 (~40-80 known) and around gbp 300-400 in VF.

Any estimate on the value of these tokens? I'm hoping to send them to an Australian dealer to sell them if they're worth a lot.

That last one, the mule, I've seen sell for about 100; in that condition. Nice collection,

I'd be adding to it, rather then selling.
