So just curious... what do you think it always struck through and it looks to me like there is doubling down there by the JFM initials... is there or is that just a shadow? Also, if there is doubling is that a normal thing to happen with a strike through? I know it is hard to get pictures without the shadow and glare on the shiny new pennies. Thanks for any clarification! I am trying to learn and absorb as much info as I can!
Oh and cool find especially since it is a Denver gives me hope for the lsc-d since I am on the west coast I get a lot of those! Lol
Thanks E&V! So Vivian410, I believe it's a Struck through debris most likely. I don't think there is a way to really know exactly what it was struck through, but hats my best guess. The doubling is MD, and is super common on basically every coin.
