A friend in the US is considering buying a few NCLT silver coins directly from RCM. Will he have to pay duty when ordering or when receiving the package? How do the shipping charges compare to those when shipping to Canada? Finally, will there be any taxes?

if he is in a state that now collects, internet tax, then yes tax will be added to the order, but there should be no custom's fees, unless the order is over 800$., as the USA is allowed to order $800, duty free, as far as shipping fees go, the mint will show you that when you go to order..
