My current thought's are that it's could be a Vindelici qinar, or one of those imported bello-gallic issue, but I cant find where those were mint. I'm am fairly confident it will be under ancient celt coins on numista. 1 of 270

@Gincoin, remember that Britain, Gaul and Spain are ruled out by the question on 15 degrees longitude. That certainly leaves the Danubic celtic category (or the Danube area under Rome), but the rest of the Celtic category should be out.
Also, silver coins have been ruled out, so I think we have only bronze and gold?

So, gang, we are east of (most of) Italy and west of the Urals. That leaves Greece, the Balkans, Asia Minor today's Middle East, but rules out Rome itself, Gaul, Britain, Spain, etc.
Is there a link between Greeks and Celts? Pre-30 B.C., and east of Rome, could put us back in the Greek world.

Is this coin from the Iberian peninsula?
There are a lot of barbarous imitation coins and billon may or may not be silver

I will retract my question about Greece, since this would no longer apply based on the correction.
Maybe we are back to Celtic (except Danube which is too far east) and Rome?
