Quote: Is the value of this coin 0.25, or less than 1 unit of currency...yes and no in no particular order So it's less than 1 unit of currency but not a quarter of a unit of currency...

Is the coin a 20 cent piece? Am I playing this right. Reading back through thread made me a bit dizzy. Yes yes. Doesn't take much.

That was hilarious watching you folks mess with that Q. 1st off, there was no coma in my Q, so it can't be considered 2 Q's. I don't understand why you are confused. Start with a quarter of a unit of currency and work your way less to 0.0000001. All it did was set an upper or lower limit. I'll try and mess some more up for the laughs. We have an answer, so that's fine. It's only 1 Q, we've made up for more before. (if you are confused again, this means 2,3,4,5,6,...) (I had to use the dot's....."etc", may have been misunderstood) silverthorne. You just happened to show up on "pick on loonie" day. Hero a few rounds ago.....G.O.A.T. now.....

Was this coin issued 1933 or earlier? To dsking/silverthorne: cool to see you again here... A US silver Three Cent was last issued 1873, and our 20 cents was last issued 1878, so these definitely do not fit the answers given (date range is currently 1926 to 1939) So Trig will perhaps let that one slide...

Naw, Triggersmob will be the one to let it slide or not, his call. Using numista is what we do here, we plug in current data there to narrow down whatever we get back as an answer to try to get as few possibilities as possible to guess on.

dsking, just go and delete the question. keith can tell you all about how to do it.... I'm sitting with 9 possible counties, but haven't plugged in a Face Value. Maybe time for an old-school list......
