Quote: I don't believe there is a rule that say the coin you pick has to be listed anywhere. No, there is not. However, previous comments lend themselves to being interpreted as confusion or desperation that a certain coin is not actually listed on Numista. I am familiar with the site and search functions and it made me wonder if these hints/answers are just being plugged into advanced search criteria to formulate a guess. If so, that's not much of a game, in my opinion. I may be completely wrong, but this is my impression. @joecoin seems to run the place, so I can't wait to see what he says.

I view numista as just another resource. After all, some of us are experts on US coins, some on Canadian coins, some on Ancient coins. And then there is @joecoin, who is an expert on smack-talking. I have a coin.

Quote: @joecoin seems to run the place, so I can't wait to see what he says. Oh no, I don't run the place. If I did, I would run it right into the ground. Although, if I was in charge, I would make a new rule. No Numista allowed. In fact, no internet allowed. We would submit our questions and guesses through snail mail. Just like I used to play chess.

1. This coin was minted prior to 1908. 2. This coin was not minted in the vertical strip of land 12 degrees of wide located between the prime meridian and 12 degrees west. 3. This coin was minted after 1600. Hint #1: Just in case anyone cares, an example of this coin is in numista already.
