I guess Philippines 1905S "1 peso" from USA with straight serif on 1

I'll guess the curved serif then.

You're both incorrect and OZ is out but due to the fact I gave OZ the second guess after getting their first one wrong. I will give a @triggersmob another chance.

This thing is supposed to be on Numista. There are only 2 1905 20 centavos. One is a proof which is out and loonie already guessed the other. Please check that all questions have been answered correctly.

Is this coin dated 1903 or 1905? Yes

I did forget to add this question along with its answer, so I do apologize for that, Thank you bringing that up Keith. Upon further review of this question. I have realized that the question states "is the coin dated 1903 or 1905", not between 1903 and1905.

It's a 20 centavos which were issued 1903 to 1906 I don't believe it was ever specifically stated or referenced that it was going to be a 1905.
If you add 190 in front of the numbers on the second hint you get 1904 20 < This is not the case as due to my interpretation of the missed question it is specifically stated whether or not it is a 1903-1905 and not 1904 20 centavos so I do apologize.

Nonsense. You should have to GM again to hone your rookie GM skills. You won't get an argument out of us.

The reasoning behind my one question "Is the coin dated 1903 or 1905" was that we had the years 1902-1906 in play; no Philippines coins issued in 1902, left four years avaliable hence the question to knock out half the years.
So here I assumed based on how the answer went I thought 1904 and 1906 dated coins were automatically out...
Cool coin by the way

Newbies get breaks, we catch each other quit often. You did pretty good for your 1st round. Just understand the Q before you answer, and no more editing.

Good patience keith. Nice coin j.

You can always ask for clarification of a question. If you don't understand "is it in the range 1903-1905?" then we can rephrase as "is it from 1903 to 1905, inclusive?".

Good round J. We all make mistakes, even when we have been playing for years.
Well done Keith.
