Now here is a mind blown fact: There are actually two different D mintmarks of the USA, one of the two D mints (Dahlonega, Georgia) only issued gold coins 1861 and earlier, and the Denver mint opened for coin production in 1906...

Was this coin issued 1862 or earlier?

Now Denver issued gold coins up to 1932 along with the silver coins back then, so we now know our date range is 1906-1960...

Is the denomination of this coin 50 cents or less?
