It is to the right of the date, the dolphin does not look like a dolphin to me. Also I think that thing on the obverse is a tribal mask, though Numista says it's a sawfish, and ncg thinks it's a gold weight.

Some say that thing on the obverse is a Taku-Ashanti gold weight figure.

I will guess this coin is a 100 Francs CFA dated 1972 from the BCEAO
