With fishy and Saint Peter, I was reminded that tilapia is called St. Peter's fish in parts of Europe, but I don't see how this can figure in. There is also St. Pierre & Miquelon, which is a French possession, even if located near Canada. They have pre-1950 aluminum coins with a cod on it. Minted in France. https://en.numista.com/catalogue/st...uelon-1.htmlI will let you guys figure out if any of this helps.

That could be useful Tdziema.
Numista lists 116 coins, 52 of which are greater than 5 francs, so that should halve our options.
Is it greater than 6 francs?

Good luck with the remainder of the game everybody. I'm going to be on the road for the next week and won't likely be posting.

call me crazy, guys, but I think we have a very good chance here with guessing either St. Pierre et Miquelon 1 franc 1948 or 2 francs 1948, if we stop looking at France, which will generate tons of options.

OK, I will ask the question ...
Is this a coin of St. Pierre & Miquelon (or however it is correctly spelled)?
