We have a winner! Congrats joecoin. Can't stump the guessers. Good job guys.

I need my wifes phone to take pic's, so I'll post them later when she gets home from work.

I now hand the crown to joe.

Well how about that!

I propose that we rename the contest to "Joecoins 20 questions challenge".

I will wait to start the next round, until loonielewey is able to sweet talk his wife into using her camera to take the picture.

I'll jump first. My guess is that this is the Canadian 2 dollar silver proof issue of 1997, commemorating the '72 hockey victory over Russia. It is one of the coins on this numista page:

Something was not right about this, so I looked at the link. The link is so wrong! All the coins in the list are silver DOLLARS, not toonies. So Numista is not always accurate. I should have caught it earlier, and would have cleared it up and maybe even let you re-guess, but to late now. My apologies.

Edit: On 2nd thought, the list is the proof sets that these coins came in. Recognized by the silver dollar of that years set.

Were going to see your whole collection, 1 coin at a time. .

Should have the pic's up about 3 or 4.

Don't stress--I'm completely out of my league with Canadian coins
