Was the coin minted after 1952?

Hmmm ... We should be careful that in the date range of which we are speaking, Czechoslovakia and Yugoslavia were countries that were NOT on the list of eastern or southern European countries we queried. We also have not seen either Bulgaria or Romania on those lists. Otherwise, we have as non-monarchies France (again?), Ireland, Portugal (which is oddly not on the South Europe list), Finland, Iceland, and ? Also remember that the last coin from this trickstah was minted in France, but for use in a distant place. He wouldn't do that again, would he? Like French West Africa, New Caledonia?

Are these two yes/no questions? Or just one? Who you callin' a trickstah? No tricksies here, nasty little hobbitses!

Haha, no questions yet ... Just the Forum version of putting our heads together prior to one of these: Now that we are narrowed to 1952-1960, we shouldn't forget the short-lived coinage of Saar, which fits all our other parameters. (Unfortunately, some days I tend to be better at broadening possibilities than narrowing them).

The year range is fantastic to know but we also need to narrow down the country and denomination within 5 questions. I have a feeling we'll need the other 5 questions to narrow down the specifics. I have a feeling Joe picked a doozy of a coin :(

Quote: we also need to narrow down the country The list includes at least: Iceland, Ireland, France (and Saar protectorate), Portugal, Finland, Bulgaria, Romania, and possibly Czechoslovakia and Yugoslavia (depending on how much of a stickler one is about earlier questions). A question about west of the Rhine would split the list in half. Or we just ask about France, its colonies and protectorates, based on the last coin from @joecoin. If that's right, that still leaves a lot of dates & denominations for the remaining questions.

Remember this one reply.....I think I got something with it. Quote: The coin is NOT from a country with a monarchy.
This answer pertains to the year the coin was minted Iceland has not had a Monarchy since 1944. Now we have the date down to when there was no Monarchy, so the end of that reply fits. If it had been minted between 1918 and 1944 his answer would have been yes. I'm thinking Iceland, but don't want to burn a ? without some feedback.

Is the coin's value less than (not including) 10 of whatever currency or sub-currency it's country is using?

Nice job, guys ... Spain and Portugal have also been in and out of monarchy in the last 100 years, so indeed that is a tricky question. Keep going! Depending on your response to the last question , Iceland made an attractive 2 kronur coin from 1958 that a lot of collectors have https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces17420.html
